Sean Patrick Suiter holds undergraduate degrees in English Literature, Chemistry and Physics from Creighton University and the University of Nebraska, respectively. Sean received his Juris Doctor from Creighton University Law School in 1988 and has been a member of the Nebraska bar since 1988. Additionally, Sean is admitted to the U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska (1990); U.S. Court of Appeals, for the Federal and Eighth Circuits, U.S. Court of International Trade, U.S. Court of Federal Claims, U.S. Supreme Court (1991); and is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Sean also belongs to Delta Sigma Rho, and Tau Kappa Alpha. Prior to founding Suiter·Swantz pc llo, Sean served as a Judicial Clerk to the Honorable John T. Grant, Nebraska Supreme Court, 1988-89. In addition to his work duties, Sean also is an Adjunct Professor of Law (Patent) at Creighton University School of Law.

Chad W. Swantz joined Suiter·Swantz pc llo in 1999. Chad holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Nebraska (1996) and a Juris Doctor from the University of Nebraska College of Law (1999). Chad was admitted to the Nebraska Supreme Court and U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska in 1999. Chad is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Jeff M. Andersen joined Suiter·Swantz pc llo in 2004. Jeff holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry from Creighton University (1995) and a Juris Doctor from Creighton University School of Law (2000). Jeff was admitted to the Nebraska Supreme Court and U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska in 2000. Jeff is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Indhira A. LaPuma joined Suiter Swantz in 2004. Indhira holds a Bachelor's Degree in Physics from Grinnell College (2000) and a Juris Doctor from the University Of Nebraska College Of Law (2005). Indhira was admitted to the Nebraska Supreme Court and U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska in 2005. Indhira is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Scot M. Ringenberg joined Suiter · Swantz pc llo as an Associate Patent Attorney in June 2006. His practice is focused on the preparation and prosecution of U. S. and foreign patent applications in the chemical, electrical, and computer arts. In addition to his patent work, Scot also provides counsel in trademark and copyright matters.

Scot received his Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2000 and his Juris Doctorate from the University of Nebraska College of Law in 2003. He has also continued his education with the University of Kansas Electrical Engineering and Computer Science Department graduate studies program.

Scot is registered to practice as an attorney before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Additionally, he has been admitted to the state bars of Nebraska, Kansas and Missouri.

He is also a member of numerous professional and community associations including the state Bar Associations of Nebraska, Missouri, and Kansas, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers, the American Institute of Chemical Engineers, the American Intellectual Property Law Association and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Alumni Association.

Gary M. Keller joined Suiter·Swantz pc llo in 2005. Gary graduated with a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Idaho (2002) and a Juris Doctor from Creighton University (2006). Gary was admitted to the Nebraska Supreme Court and U.S. District Court, District of Nebraska in 2006. Prior to entering law school, Gary worked as a research engineer in the field of environmental chemistry. Gary is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Dr. Roseberry brings a broad range of experience to the practice of patent law. Prior to joining Suiter Swantz, Dr. Roseberry served as President of HPI, Inc., a successful medical venture with a Fortune 500 company. In addition, Dr. Roseberry has more than 20 years experience as a practicing veterinarian with an emphasis on equine orthopedics and performance related issues.

From his previous experiences, Dr. Roseberry gained the kind of hands-on business experience that is rare among patent attorneys. Years of making critical medical decisions and complex business decisions have allowed Dr. Roseberry to develop an ability to see the big picture and to assess risk. Dr. Roseberry believes “life is a series of speed bumps – never slow down”.

In his practice, Dr. Roseberry focuses on pharmaceuticals, biotechnology and medical devices, both prosecuting new applications and providing advice on freedom to operate, licensing and the competitive playing field. With his unique skill set, of business and medicine, Dr. Roseberry is well equipped to truly understand the client's perspectives and needs in the creation and protection of their intellectual property.

Leo J. Peters joined Suiter·Swantz as Of Counsel in 2004. Leo is a 1988 Graduate of George Washington University School of Law. Leo also has a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from George Mason University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from George Washington University. Prior to joining the Firm, Leo worked as an in-house Patent Attorney and as a Patent Examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Leo is admitted to practice in California and the District of Columbia. Leo is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office.

Erik M. Antonson graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors degree in Engineering with a Mechanical Specialization from Baylor University in 1999 and with a Masters degree in Computer Science with a specialization in Artificial Intelligence from the University of Nebraska at Omaha in 2007. Before joining Suiter·Swantz pc llo, Erik worked for Raytheon Aircraft Integration Systems in Waco, Texas as a mechanical design engineer for Boeing Business Jet commercial programs and EP-3E MSA Navy programs.

Miao Liu graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Nebraska at Omaha with bachelors degrees in Computer Science and Mathematics and with a masters degree in Computer Science.

Penny L. Bartholomew joined Suiter • Swantz pc llo in 1998. Penny is an intellectual property assistant for the firm. Penny has a BA in History from Sioux Falls College in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Shirley Dunne joined Suiter Swantz pc llo in 2006. Shirley is a paralegal with over 18 years experience in litigation and intellectual property law. She has a B.S. in Elementary Education from University of Oregon and a Certificate of Paralegal Studies from the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska.

Melanie Baker McCain joined Suiter • Swantz pc llo in 2004. Melanie is the bookkeeper for the firm. Melanie graduated from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, Nebraska in 2002 with a BGS in Business Administration, Political Science and Black Studies. Melanie is concurrently working towards her BS in Accounting and MBA in Accounting and Finance.

Mr. Lei Tian is a patent attorney registered to practice before SIPO (State Intellectual Property Office) of China. He graduated from DaLian University of Science and Technology in Chemical profession and he got his Master’s degree.He had worked as an engineer developing new chemical products for two years in Beijing Chemical Research Institute of SINO Petrochemical Co. Mr.LeiTian has been involved in the practice of intellectual property since 2000 in Kingsound & Partner. He joined Suiter Swantz pc llo as the director of its China Office in Jan.2003. Mr.LeiTian has prosecuted hundreds of patent applications related to inventions and advised numerous foreign and domestic clients in patent, trademark, copyright, and unfair competition matters. He also has considerable experience in Intellectual property litigations such as patent infringement, trademark infringement, and unfair competition.

Yongsheng Su is a registered patent attorney having graduated from the Huanan Institute and Technology University. He has extensive knowledge in the litigation of intellectual property and has been undertaking the infringement of right.

Ms. Li Tan is a patent Attorney registered to practice before SIPO (State Intellectual Property Office) of China. She graduated from TongJi University in Physical profession. She had worked as a attorney from 2004 in ShangHai DaCheng law Office, Ms.Li Tan joined us in 2005.

Ms. Yuezhen Qin is a senior patent attorney registered to practice before SIPO (State Intellectual Property Office) of China.
